Capitalizing on the key period when families prepare for camping season, the Quebec Egg Producers Federation launched a major spring contest to promote egg consumption.
Using all the tools in its media kit, Télé-Québec rolled out the “You Can’t Go Camping Without Cracking Eggs” contest on television, online, and across its social media platforms to encourage the consumption of eggs while camping. By leveraging a catchy theme and an optimized promotional strategy, the contest successfully reached consumers and helped drive traffic to the client’s website.
Results: A record participation rate at Télé-Québec with over 10,000 entries, while also boosting visits to the QEPF website and highlighting the versatility of eggs through a wide variety of camping-friendly recipes.
